What is the “Write with Us” program?
Within the “Write with Us” program, Multa Verba Books offers authors the opportunity to present their work to a wider audience through Story Lux magazines or book publications. Submissions are open to children, teens, and adults. Our editorial board carefully reviews all entries and selects those that best match our editorial vision and target readership.
Please note: “Write with Us” is not a public call or open tender, but an internal editorial program run by Multa Verba Books.
What kind of submissions can I send?
You can submit fairy tales, short stories, poems, fantasy and informative pieces, and comic scripts to the Write with Us editorial board. We also accept diary entries and essays that reflect children’s and young people’s perspectives on the world. If your work is selected, it will be published in the Story Lux magazine or in the Multa Verba Books collection.
Your submission must be entirely original, authored by you, previously unpublished, and appropriate for the target audience. You may submit in Slovene, Italian, or English.
Who can participate?
Children and young authors up to 15, established writers, students, retirees, and anyone who wishes to try their hand at writing are welcome to participate.
What is the maximum length?
Submissions must be original and within the word limits:
• For magazines: up to 800 words (fairy tales and articles).
• For book publications: up to 1,500 words.
Longer works are not reviewed within this program; potential collaboration for longer manuscripts is arranged individually. Such works may also be included in special literary calls/competitions, which offer broader opportunities for publishing more extensive content.
