About the Book
When a harsh winter grips the village beneath a great mountain, everyone fears the terrible dragon said to live there. Peter decides to seek the truth and, despite his fear, steps into the unknown.
Peter and the Dragon carries a warm message about courage, accepting others, and the power of kindness. Filled with beautiful illustrations, it helps children understand that behind our fears there may be something far more precious—the chance for a new friendship.
Two co-authors—a father and daughter, both distinguished legal consultants—have joined their love of storytelling. Their style is unique, homely, and personal. Illustrator Andreja Karba is a traditional yet innovative artist who creates all her illustrations by hand on paper using “magical dots” and spirals of light. Over the years she has developed a signature style with a soft pastel palette, drawing inspiration from nature and old fairy tales, giving the artwork a timeless, classic feel.
