Customer Reviews

“A wonderful story about what truly matters in life.” – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“My child loves it! The illustrations are beautiful.” – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“Fairy tales are never written only for children; we adults need them just as much—perhaps even more. The Ladybird Who Lost Three Spots is a beautiful story about something precious we think we’ve lost, yet carry within us all along. It teaches that because of what we’ve ‘lost’ we are not worth less—we are still whole and accepted. Only when the Ladybird stopped focusing on what was missing could she enjoy all that she is—and then she found the missing part of herself. The story seems simple, but that simplicity lets us feel its depth without weight. It’s like a gentle meditation that calms us. Details matter; by noticing them we, too, can surrender to the heady scent of elderflower and jasmine and find a moment of peace. The gorgeous images further spark the imagination. Since every fairy tale should be written with the message we pass on to children in mind, this tale is an excellent example of how to gently accept ourselves and change, and how to find calm in the present moment. Life is simple and enriched by small, beautiful things—like three spots that were never truly lost. Compliments to the author for this lovely story.” – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
